Deck the Halls Project Contest
Show us what you've created with the Deck the Halls Gift Sets (Holly, Jolly or Dollar Bin items) and you could win up to $1,000 worth of QuicKutz products! Simply submit your Deck the Halls projects to the QK Community Gallery at www.quickutz.com by December 31, 2008 (on the "Upload a Project" page, just click the entry box under "contests.")
QuicKutz will narrow down the entries to 10 projects that community members can vote on to determine the top three winners. Be sure to log on and vote for your favorites!
Eligibility
Eligible entries must contain at least one die cut shape, digital design, tag or stamp from the following list of QuicKutz products:
- Deck the Halls Jolly Gift Set
- Deck the Halls Holly Gift Set
- Deck the Halls Dollar Bin items
No purchase necessary. Entries not containing a die cut shape, digital design, tag or stamp from the aforementioned list may still be eligible if they contain a shape similar to the approved list. Employees of QuicKutz, Inc., and immediate families (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and their spouses) and persons residing in the households of any QuicKutz employees are ineligible to play or win. Eligibility may be restricted by applicable laws. Void where prohibited.
How to Enter
The Contest begins at 12:00 a.m. (M.D.T.) on 10/28/2008 and all submissions must be received by 11:59 p.m. (M.D.T.) on 12/31/2008 (the "Contest Period"). Three winners will be selected. Internet Entry: Enter by uploading one of your favorite projects to the QuicKutz Community Gallery and choosing to enter the contest in the contest section of the project upload form. By entering, you agree to the terms of these Official Rules and to receive e-mails from Sponsor or those directed by Sponsor. You can opt-out of the receipt of such e-mails by following the directions in any email received from Sponsor. One entry per household/ email address will be placed in the Grand Prize drawing. The submission of more than one entry by any person or household/email address will not improve the chances of winning.
Promotion Period
The Promotion Period begins 10/28/2008 and ends 12/31/2008. All entries must be received during the promotion period. Sponsor is not responsible or liable for delays in mail delivery systems or computer, network, telephone, or human errors that may delay submission of any entry.
Prizes/Odds
One Grand Prize Winner will receive QuicKutz product worth up to $1000.00 SRP, one second place winner receive $500.00 SRP worth of products and one third place winner will receive $250.00 SRP worth of QuicKutz product, subject to any restrictions described in these contest rules. Winners will be allowed to select QuicKutz products from a list of products to be specified by Sponsor, which may not include QuicKutz's entire line of products. Odds of winning will depend entirely upon the number of submissions received, and Prize Winner will be selected first by a judging panel of QuicKutz employees from among all eligible entries and then voted on by community members to be held on or about January 10, 2009. Prize valued at up to $1000.00. Entries will be judged on creativity with the Deck the Halls gift sets.
Prize Conditions/Restrictions
No prize substitutions of any kind, except at Sponsor's sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value if a prize cannot be awarded for any reason. Federal, state and local taxes on a prize, if any, and any expenses relating to the acceptance and use of a prize not specified herein are the responsibility of the winner. Sponsor and its agents make no representation regarding the quality of a prize and assume no liability for its use. Any difference between stated approximate retail value and actual value of contest prize will not be awarded. Winners may be required to sign a Winner's Agreement and Release, which must be completed and returned within 14 days of date of notification or prize may be forfeited. The winners may waive their right to receive prizes. Prizes are nonassignable and nontransferable. The winners are solely responsible for reporting and payment of any taxes on prizes. Failure to comply with any term or condition of these Official Rules, may result in a winner's disqualification, the forfeiture of his or her interest in the prize, and the award of the prize to an alternate winner.
Additional Terms
Sponsor and agents are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, incorrect, damaged, misdirected, illegible, or postage due mail/requests, submissions, or prize claims. Participants assume all risk of loss, damage, destruction, delay or misdirection of information submitted to Sponsor. Violations of these rules shall be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
Winner Notification and Acceptance
The winners will be notified by telephone primarily, and e-mail secondarily on or about January 31, 2009. Failure to reach the winner within 14 days may result in disqualification of the winner, forfeiture of his/her interest in all prizes, and selection of a substitute winner from among all remaining eligible entries.
Except where prohibited, participation in the Contest constitutes entrant's consent to the publication of his or her name, biographical information and likeness in any media for any commercial or promotional purpose, without limitation or further compensation. Prizes not won and claimed by eligible winners in accordance with these Official Rules will not be awarded and will remain the property of Sponsor. For a list of winners, please send your request with one addressed envelope to the address below to be received by 2/1/09.
