Official Contest Rules
1. Description of Contest Rules.
Judging Criteria: Submissions will be judged on creativity in theme choice, journaling, and overall composition.
Prizes (per show): Grand Champion $1000 in prizes.
One person will be selected Grand Champion and will receive a $1000 QuicKutz shopping spree.
All-Honors $250 in prizes.
Two individuals will be selected All-Honors Winners and will each receive a $250 QuicKutz shopping spree.
Grand Champion of 2007 - $5,000 in prizes
The Grand Champion Winner for each convention will be entered to win the Grand Prize Grand Champion at the end of the 2007 after all Creating Keepsakes Conventions are complete. One person will be selected as the Grand Prize Life Winner and receive $1,000 cash along with a Scrapbooking retreat and crop for the winner and up to four guests in the great state of all things scrapbooking – Utah.
1. Description of Contest Offer
The grand prize winner of the “The Right Tools Make All the Difference” contest will be awarded $1000 worth of QuicKutz products and supplies of their choice, not including price of shipping. QuicKutz ("Sponsor") will award one (1) Grand Prize (see description of prize and qualifications below) to one (1) winner per 2007 Creating Keepsakes Convention, selected from all eligible entries received during the Promotional Period per show. Two (2) winners will each receive an All-Honors prize pack from QuicKutz worth $250. One (1) of the two (2) All-Honors winners can be selected from layouts sent in from individuals not attending the show.

2. Promotion Period
The Promotional Period begins at the beginning of each convention (Friday at 9:00am) and ends on the Saturday of the convention weekend at 4:00pm (the "Promotion Period"). All entries must be received during the Promotional Period. The top finalists will be selected by the QuicKutz team and other judges as QuicKutz deems necessary after the convention ends based on those entries meeting the requirements set forth in paragraphs 3 and 4, below. The final winners will be selected and announced online at QuicKutz.com.
3. How to Enter
Step 1. Register by completing a two-page layout of your size choice along with a form including the following information on the back of your layouts.
Name, address, email (if available), contact number, date and convention submitting for.
Step 2. Submit Entry.
Entries will be accepted at the QuicKutz booth at any of the shows listed below starting opening day of Creating Keepsakes Conventions:

If you are unable to attend any of the CK Conventions, entries must be received in the office before the end of the show you're submitting for to be eligible. Please mail your entries for the show of your choice to:

Copies of the entry must be submitted. Original layouts will not be accepted or returned.
All requested info must be on the back of your layouts; incomplete entries or entries received through impermissible or illegitimate channels may be void.
Only one entry per participant. (The submission of more than one entry will automatically disqualify a participant.)
Winners will be required to provide the original layouts to QuicKutz. The layouts will be retained by QuicKutz for up to six months after each show at which time the original layouts will be returned to the respective owners.
All winners agree to give all publication rights for the designs contained in the layouts along with the rights to any and all photos taken of layouts contained in the winning layouts to be used at QuicKutz discretion.
4. Eligibility
NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO WIN. The “The Right Tools Make All the Difference” Promotional (the “Promotion”) offer is open to legal residents of the United States or Canada, 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Residents of Puerto Rico are not eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. To be eligible to win, Sponsor must receive entries in the format designated in step 2 above. Employees of Sponsor, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers or their immediate families are not eligible. The total number of entries received during the Promotion Period determines the odds of winning. By entering, entrant agrees to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. Entrant also certifies that the photos contained in their designs may be published by QuicKutz and that they have the right to release the photos for publication to QuicKutz.
5. Description of Prize

The Winner is responsible for all taxes, including but not limited to any registration taxes and title transfer taxes, on the prize based upon the value of the prize as set forth in these rules. All prizes are awarded "AS IS" and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, expressed or implied, except as provided by the manufacturer. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
6. Announcement and Awarding of Promotional Prize
One (1) Grand Prize (2) other winners will be made eligible and correctly completed entries received during the Promotion Period. Winner will be notified by phone or email or mail, return receipt requested, within ten (10) days of the end of contest. Winner will be required to complete and return an affidavit of eligibility and a liability and publicity release within fourteen (14) days of attempted delivery. Failure to comply with these Official Rules, failure to execute and return the required documents within 14 days of attempted delivery or the return of the prize notification as undeliverable, will result in awarding the prize to an alternate winner. All taxes and expenses are the responsibility of the winner. Entry constitutes permission to post winner's name on the Sponsor's web site and the use of the winner's name and hometown for purposes of advertising without further compensation unless prohibited by law. By accepting the prizes, winners agree that Sponsor, its affiliates, distributors, advertising and promotional agencies and suppliers and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents shall have no liability for, and shall hold all such parties harmless against damage, loss or injury that may arise in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of prizes or participation in this Promotion. Offer void where prohibited.
7. Miscellaneous
The Promotion is subject to all applicable laws in the United States and Canada. Void where prohibited and in any country except the United States and Canada. Sponsor may prohibit entrants from participating in the Promotion and disqualify entries if they attempt to enter the Promotion through means not described in the rules, attempt to disrupt the Promotion or circumvent the rules, act in an un-sportsmanlike manner or with an intent to annoy or harass any other entrant or sponsor(s). Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or suspend the Promotion should any causes beyond the control of the Sponsor or Promoters, corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper operation of the Promotion. All decisions are final. Sponsor makes no warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the use of the Promotion prize including, but not limited to, quality, merchantability or fitness for a particular prize. Under no circumstances will Sponsor or any affiliated persons or entities be liable for: (1) electronic, computer, telephone, network, internet or other technical or human error(s) which may occur in connection with the Promotion; (2) any injury or damage to person or property, which may be caused, directly or indirectly, from participation or attempted participation in the Promotion; (3) inaccurate, incomplete, lost or stolen entries or other information related to the Promotion; (4) illegitimate entries (which will be disqualified); (5) punitive, indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
All Entrants agree that any and all claims, disputes and causes of action arising out of or related to the Promotion shall be resolved, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively by the appropriate courts in Salt Lake County, Utah in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without giving effect to conflict of law rules which would cause the application of the laws of any other jurisdiction.
